(Welcome to Celebrations of the Spanish-speaking World!)

You will be working in small groups to create a Wiki about different holidays celebrated throughout the Spanish-speaking world. We will share the final Wiki with the class and compare and contrast the holidays to those we celebrate in the U.S. We will build one page together for an example.

Para Empezar (Getting Started)

• Each group has a holiday to research and a page to create on this Wikispace.
• Each page must tell what the holiday is (the name of the holiday in Spanish), when it is celebrated, where it is celebrated, who celebrates it, why it celebrated and how it is celebrated.
• Each page must have at least two pictures that clearly relate to the holiday.
• Each page should have at least two links to relevant sites.
